Nach längerer Zeit in der Beta-Phase ist es jetzt soweit: Active Sky P3D wurde jetzt in der Version B8080 veröffentlicht. Die Wetter-Engine bedient dabei weiterhin den Prepar3D in Version 4 und ganz neu auch die Version 5.3 mit dem aktuellen Hotfix 2. Das Update bietet neben einem neuen Enhanced Atmospherics Modus auch Darstellungsverbesserungen, neue Volumetric Clouds Übergangsglättungen, abgestimmte Sichtbarkeitsdarstellung in allen Modi, Sichtbarkeitsreduzierung in der Wolke und Wolkenbewegungseffekte für niedrige Decken sowie vieles vieles mehr.

Wenn ihr B8080 bereits während des Open-Beta-Zyklus installiert habt, braucht ihr es nicht erneut zu installieren. Die Release Version ist identisch mit der letzten Beta Fassung.

Sollte euch das nicht genug an Informationen sein, wollen wir euch den Changelog natürlich nicht vorenthalten, aber ACHTUNG! Eine längere Lektüre für den Abend ist damit garantiert…

NOTE: Volumetric Clouds depiction (with EA mode) effectively renders the cloud thickness much higher, anywhere from 30 to 100% higher than as configured, so the reduction of thickness parameters should not result in a visual reduction of height of thunderstorm clouds

Vor einigen Wochen versprach uns Airfoillabs eine transparente 737 MAX Entwicklung im X-Plane. Nun folgen die ersten Taten und wir können dir ersten Bewegtbilder und Flugdynamiken ansehen und ebenfalls einige Displays. Auf der Homepage gibt es darüber hinaus detaillierte Statusmeldungen über die einzelnen Systeme.
Mit seinen unschlagbaren Preisen und der sehr guten Qualität, bedient der chinesische Hersteller WINWING seit einiger Zeit den Flusimarkt. Neben der Homecockpithardware, den Einstiegsjoysticks der URSA MINOR- Reihe und Pedalen, entwickelt der Hersteller aus Chengdu auch hochwertige HOTAS- Systeme für Simulationen. Grund genug, dass wir uns den Orion 2 Max vorknöpfen und einem Test unterziehen.
Der MSFS24 ist zwei Tage alt und schon ist Robert Randazzo mit einer Stellungnahme am Start. In einem Post informiert uns der PMDG-Chef, dass bestehende PMDG-Produkte möglicherweise nicht ohne Weiteres mit dem kürzlich veröffentlichten Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 kompatibel sind. Zukunft ungewiss.
