Nicht lange nach dem Release von Version 5.2 hat Lockheed Martin jetzt Hotfix 1 für Prepar3D veröffentlicht. Dieser adressiert vor allem Crashes grafischer Natur, aber auch die Performance von Szenerie- und Autogen-Elementen soll laut Lockheed Martin verbessert worden sein. Zur Installation des Hotfixes reiche es laut Lockheed, nur den Client-Installer auszutauschen. Des weiteren könne es vorkommen, dass eine erneute Aktivierung des Sims notwendig ist.
Außerdem empfiehlt Lockheed die „Delete Generated Files“-Verknüpfung im P3D-Hauptverzeichnis nach der Installation des Hotfixes auszuführen. Hier könnten allerdings Einstellungen verändert/resetet werden, die Add-Ons betreffen – in diesem Fall empfiehlt Lockheed das Löschen der VolumetricClouds.cfg im Verzeichnis “%appdata%\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v5”, da der Hotfix auch Veränderungen in der Wolkendarstellung adressiert.

- Fixed issue where menu bar could remain hidden after loading scenarios in some cases.
- Fixed issue where Weather UI was not correctly showing negative values for visibility layers.
- Performance and stability improvements for Oculus VR headsets.
- Fixed issue where weather changes made through the UI would interpolate instead of instantly applying in some cases.
Scenery Fixes and Improvements
- Fixed missing PPL_Construction1_LM texture.
SDK Fixes and Improvements
- Added PDK function to IMultiplayerService to set transmit and receive frequencies for voice transmission.
